Pete: Requiescat in Pace et in Amore

Pete just passed away. For those of you who never knew him, he was Mommy G's heart dog.

Pete personified simple happiness and my life is richer and fuller having met him.

He had this penchant for pink toys, I mean I watched in amazement as he nosed open his toy box & pulled everything out until he found a pink one. So great was his spirit and I will miss him dearly.

From everyone in the 2 Dogs family - our heart goes out to Ginger today.

So, so sorry, Ginger. Pete was so fortunate to be loved by so many and to have you as his Mom. I know he had a wonderful life. Have fun with all your pals over the Rainbow Bridge and if you see my Mugs, tell him I still miss him.

I loved you best

By Jim Willis

So this is where we part, My Friend,
and you'll run on, around the bend,
gone from sight, but not from mind,
new pleasures there you'll surely find.
I will go on, I'll find the strength,
life measures quality, not its length.
One long embrace before you leave,
share one last look, before I grieve.
There are others, that much is true,
but they be they, and they aren't you.
And I, fair, impartial, or so I thought,
will remember well all you've taught.
Your place I'll hold, you will be missed,
the fur I stroked, the nose I kissed.
And as you journey to your final rest,
take with you this...I loved you best.

I know the sadness of losing that one very special furry soulmate. Thinking of you during this difficult time Ginger. Hope you are playing and having fun with Zachy and Sasha at the Bridge Pete. Rest in peace sweet boy!
